This is an immersive Skincare & Cybernetic Rebuild blind bag project. You will play the role of a digital technician, clearing away glitches (pimples and scars) and rebuilding Jax into a powerful, mechanical version of himself.
The Concept: From Glitchy to Great
We start with a “messy” Jax who is covered in digital debris, stray hairs, and even scars from his latest pranks. Through a series of satisfying grooming steps and a final “Cyborg” transformation, you’ll witness the most unique glow-up in the Digital Circus.
Materials & Tools Checklist
To build your own high-quality, poseable Jax, gather these supplies:
- Printable Templates: 6 sheets of 120g A4 paper (provides the best stability for his long ears).
- Precision Tools:
- Craft Knife & Tweezers: Essential for the “micro-surgery” of removing acne and stray hairs.
- Scissors: For the main character and body parts.
- The Mechanical Secrets:
- 5 Brads (Split Pins): These are the key to making Jax’s mechanical body poseable and interactive.
- Protection & Adhesion:
- Laminating Film / Clear Tape: Cover Jax’s face to allow for the smooth application and removal of the masks and stickers.
- Low-Tack Double-Sided Tape: Pro Tip: Press the tape onto your hand a few times to reduce stickiness. This ensures you can peel off the masks and bandages without tearing the beautiful paper artwork underneath.
The Digital Repair Process: Step-by-Step
1. Emergency Glitch Removal
Open the first bag to find a distressed Jax. Use your tweezers to carefully “pluck” away his messy facial hair and clear the stubborn digital acne on his face and ears.
2. Facial Realignment
